"I ask the supporters to welcome him with all the honors, because he was really important for Barça"
FC Barcelona's president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, confirmed that Barça have not prepared anything to receive Pep Guardiola, when they will come back to Camp Nou this Wednesday to play the first leg of Champions League semifinals. Despite some media said the club might play a video, the president explained there was nothing prepared. In a long interview at the Catalan TV Esport3, he also talked about the semifinals and the departure of Guardiola from Barça.
"The club haven't prepared anything to receive Guardiola. But I ask the supporters to welcome him with all the honors, because he was really important for Barça."
"In the end, Guardiola will come here with the aim to get a place for the UCL final."
"Bayern are a great team. There are no favorites. Open round against a coach who knows Barça really well."
Departure of Guardiola and relation with Barça
"Guardiola didn't ended up angry with the board; he left due to a personal reason."
"Guardiola knows Barça's doors are open for him, always. I think he will come back to Barça some day."
