They would like a cautionary suspension of the ban
Gerard Piqué was sanctioned in the Spanish Super Cup and he will miss this Saturday's match against Atlético Madrid, but Barcelona have decided to appeal this ban so the center-back could play.
According to the journalist Jordi Borda —Catalunya Ràdio— this Wednesday the club will send an appeal to the Sport Administrative Tribunal (TAD) in order to get a cautionary suspension of the ban.
FC Barcelona already appealed to minor to judge of first instance trying to reduce or cancel the sanction, but it was useless. We'll see if Piqué finally gets to play in Calderón.
