Good first pre-season match for Barcelona. Luis Enrique's men beat Celtic (3-1) in Dublin with all the goals scored in the first half. Arda Turan, Munir and Ambrose with an own goal were enough and the Catalans only conceded after a big mistake from Martinez that ended up with Griffith's goal.
Luis Enrique used his strongest XI in the first half. Even Leo Messi was in the line-up despite having only completed a few training sessions. Patrick Roberts was the most dangerous man from the opponents but his efforts never found the goal. Aleix Vidal, playing at right back, showed great confidence and nutmegged the left-back before giving the ball to Arda Turan, who opened the score with a brilliant shot with his right foot.
Then the mistakes arrived. First Martinez, a young centre-back who arrived from Sevilla B, that gave to ball to the opponent. And in the following action Ambrose, who touched the ball in his own goal after a cross from Camara.
Munir, after a great effort from Luis Suarez and an assist with his left foot, scored the last Barcelona goal. At half time Messi rested and Luis Enrique started to give minutes to the young ones. Despite good football shown by Samper and Carles Aleña, there weren't more goals.
