Radio COPE assures the club sent an executive to Brazil to try and seal the renewal of the player
At the end of 2015, the question of Neymar's renewal start to take more and more importance in the Blaugrana space. Since 2016, it has been a main topic every time the name of the young Braziliand star has been mentioned, as part of Luis Enrique's trident. It seems however that although it is one of the club's top priorities, the deal is not sealed yet and the first preocupations have appeared at Barça.
According to COPE's latest Barça news, the club sent their football director Raul Sanllehi to Brazil, where Neymar is enjoying holdays, so as to seal a deal and diffuse the doubts that have appeared about the player's future. Barça fear the footballer gets tempted by the offers of big clubs like now PSG, who according to various sources, have already reached an agreement with the player for 2017.
This information arrives at the same time as the one from Mundo Deportivo saying that the work on Neymar's house, under construction in Castelldefels next to Suarez's and Messi's, has been stopped. It looks like the footballer's future is still not 100% sure and this worries Barça, who see the 24 year-old winger as the natural leader to take on the team, once Leo Messi decides to put an end to his sporting career. Some intense days and large trips are expected in the Blaugrana club.
