"I talked with Ronaldinho after the statements and he told me not to worry"
"There are black sheep in the changing room". The sentence that Edmilson said on November 2007, started the controversy in the Barcelona changing room. In the last season of Rijkaard, Edmilson pronounced that word when Barcelona was starting to decrease and players like Ronaldinho or Deco were not in their best level. Now he explained at Mundo Deportivo, some anecdotes after that word:
"It was a wrong sentence, but I use it to be provocative with the changing room. I wanted to say that we needed more commitment to the squad, the club and the supporters. We were living a bad moment in La Liga and I couldn't stay quiet".
"I talked to him to deny the rumours. I was not pointing him. When I talked with him, he said: 'don't worry. I have read anything. Are you ok?' I told him 'yes' and the he said again "don't worry".
"Before Christmas, the people from the changing room gave me a black sheep... It was Christmas, it was really cold and the sheep was close to drown in the swimming pool".
