FC Barcelona is a big club, but despite that, there's no space for everyone. Many talented players have had to pack their bags looking for a better place, seeking minutes of competition. Others, after some years of glory in the Blaugrana team, have decided to try their luck in Premier League, one of the most prestigious leagues in the world —at least historically.

This season, Premier League is full of former Barça players, more than ever. Young players with no place in Barcelona, like Muniesa and Bojan, and Barça legends like Víctor Valdés, with many trouble after deciding to leave Barça and undergoing a serious injury. We want to take a look at how things are going for them:

Cesc Fàbregas - Chelsea

Probably the happiest former Blaugrana. Cesc came back to Premier League this season, not in Arsenal —where he had been playing for many years— but in José Mourinho's Chelsea. The team is currently leader of Premier, with a six-point margin with Manchester City. Cesc is almost playing every match and he is leader regarding assists (16 only in the Premier). He is also one of those to run more kilometers. Nevertheless according to some stats, Fàbregas' performance in the second half of the season has drastically dropped, as usually happens to the midfielder. He has scored 4 goals, 2 in the Premier League and 2 in the Champions League, where Chelsea was eliminated by PSG in the round of 16.

Yaya Touré - Manchester City

It was some years ago, in the 2010-11 season, that Yaya Touré —or Touré Yaya, as we knew him here in Barcelona— decided to move to England to play for Manchester City in the ambitious project that two former FC Barcelona executives, Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain, were launching. So far: Two Premier Leagues (2011-12 and last season), and bad results in Champions League. This year, he couldn't play the first leg (round of 16) of the European competition against Barça and could do nothing to avoid elimination in the second leg. Winning Premier League seems difficult, as Mourinho's Chelsea is well placed in the 1st position and will hardly lose 6 points. So far, Yaya scored 9 goals, 7 in the Premier League, 1 in the Champions League and 1 in the League Cup.

Víctor Valdés - Manchester United

After fully recovering from his injury, legendary FC Barcelona goalkeeper, Víctor Valdés, signed a contract with Van Gaal's Manchester United. It was in the winter market. Since then, Valdés hasn't made his debut with the first team. He has only played with United U21 team three times, with two wins, a draw and 3 goals conceded. It was said that he would play in the FA Cup, but not even that. And United was eliminated by Arsenal in the quarterfinals. Van Gaal's team are 4th in the Premier League and will have to struggle if they want to come back to Champions League next year.

Bojan Krkic - Stoke City

The young player left Barcelona in 2011. Since then, Rome, Milan, Ajax and this season, Stoke City, the current 10th classified in the Premier League. The big problem of the striker are injuries. He suffered them in Ajax and this season as well. Last January 27 he had a Cruciate Ligament Rupture which will prevent him to play for the rest of the season almost for sure. This injury sadly came when Bojan seemed to have found his proper team. Playing almost all the minutes, he had scored 5 goals —such this golazo— and assisted 2.
