Real Madrid Castilla have many chances to play the playoff to be promoted to 2nd Division A
We know which teams will play 2015 Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup) final: Barça and Athletic Club. We know the date: May 30. So now it's time to start speculations on where it's going to be played. Here you have some options:
A good option, since it fits with the conditions of Barça's president, Josep Maria Bartomeu: big capacity (81,044 spectators) and a big scenario with feeling of final.
But the White club might not want the final to be played on their stadium. According to the newspaper As, Madrid's B team (Real Madrid Castilla, coached by Zinedine Zidane) might be playing the playoff to be promoted to Second Division A and use the stadium during the same dates. This could be the perfect excuse to avoid a Barça-Athletic final at Bernabéu, because Castilla would play in the first-team field.
The most probable options
The stadium of Valencia (55,000 spectators) held 3 of the last 6 Copa finals, with Barça's participation in all of them: They defeated Athletic Club in 2009 4-1, they lost against Madrid in 2011 1-0, and last year they were also beaten by the Whites 2-1. So it would not be the first final between Catalans and Basques in this venue.
