The Brazilian star received this Tuesday Samba Gold award
Neymar came back to Barcelona to train with the team after playing two friendly matches with Brazil, but before that he talked about his future. In brief statements published at the Portuguese newspaper 'A bola', the Brazilian star admitted again he wants to success in Barcelona. Asked about a possible future in the Premier League he said that:
"As for playing in England myself, I’m very happy playing for Barcelona and I still have a long road to walk here."
He was also asked about former mate Alexis Sánchez: "Alexis is a big friend and someone who I had the privilege of playing with at Barcelona. We used to get along very well on and off the field, so I’m very happy to see him so well at Arsenal."
This morning, Neymar also was awarded with Samba Gold, given by the French association Sambafoot to the best Brazilian player in Europe every year. The striker was given the trophy in Barcelona Training Center. Neymar had 29 votes, and after him Miranda and Felipe Melo had 16. Thiago Silva had won the last three editions.
