The striker passed some medical tests in Washington with his national team
False alarm: Messi is not injured. The Argentinian had some physical issues in one of his toes during the training session with the Argentinian national team and had to pass some medical tests. Tata Martino's squad is now in Washington preparing their future friendlies against El Salvador and Ecuador.
But Messi's tests revealed there's no injury. He just have a knock on his right foot and will stay with his national team.
Messi picked up this knock at El Clasico last Sunday. It all ended up in a false alarm, because the first reports said he might be coming back to Barcelona.
The star arrived this Monday to the United States with Javier Mascherano. Argentina play on Saturday against El Salvador and next Tuesday against Ecuador. Both friendlies.
Here's the statement from the Argentinian Football Federation saying Leo Messi is "not injured".
