The national team's coach Löw wants him to keep playing with U-21
Although he is playing a great season with Barça, being the starter goalkeeper in Champioins League and Copa del Rey, Marc-André Ter Stegen keeps playing for the German national team U-21 as wished Joachim Löw.
The coach of the national team explained that "I'd prefer him playing and becoming stronger, before him being on the bench with the top team," and he said that "until European U-21 of next summer, it's best that he stays with them."
Löw is receiving a lot of critics, specially because he made Bayern Leverkusen's Roman Leno goalkeeper play in the classificatory match of last Friday against Italy (2-2) and announcing the decision of leaving the player with the U-21 team. Neuer is the first goalkeeper.
In the 4 played matches until now with the top team since 2012, numbers are not in favor of Ter Stegen, he received 12 goals and signed a draw and 3 defeats. Currently, though, the German keeper is in great shape with Barça.
