He can't play at Barça due to FIFA's sanction
"La Masia no es toca", "Don't touch La Masia". That was the message FC Barcelona wanted to send to the world after FIFA banned 10 young blaugrana players (trained in what's known by La Masia) because they had been signed illegally from another country.
So Korean Seung Woo Lee, Paik Seung-Ho and Jang Gyseolhee Dutch Boby Adekanye, Cameroonian Patrice Sousia, Japanese Takefusa Kubo, French Kais Ruiz and american Ben Ledeman would not play anymore with Barça until they were 16. One of them, Kais Ruiz, turned 16 and is playing again. Another one is also active, but not in Barça. Bobby Adekanye has been sent to PSV on loan.
As firstly reported by the journalist Oriol Domènech, the 15-year-old left winger will spend his last year of ban away from La Masia. The Dutch will play at PSV Eindhoven. He is allowed to do so because that's his origin country. Ajax was also interested but only if the player was transferred; Barça want him to come back, so he is expected to return in a year's period, when he will be 16 and will be able to defend the blaugrana's crest again.
Bobby Adekanye was born in Ibadan (Nigeria) but his family moved to The Netherlands when he was just 4. He played for Ajax until 2011, when he came to Barcelona.
Bobby and Luis Suárez played for Ajax in the same period
