El Clásico's 'pass', on March 22, is the final objective
Be or not to be in 23 days. In the next three weeks, FC Barcelona can determine their future in the 3 competitions: Copa, Liga and Champions League.
A 23-days climb which begins in Granada in La Liga and that will continue with the Copa semifinals against Villarreal. The final pass will be in the Champions League against Manchester City and the great El Clásico at Camp Nou on March 22.
Luis Enrique's teams will face Granada (28 February), Rayo Vallecano (8 March), Eibar (March 14) and Real Madrid (March 22). Indeed, it is the competition where they should avoid being defeated, since Ancelloti's Madrid could escape alone at the head of the table and increase the distance of four points.
Without a doubt, El Clásico "pass" on March 22 at the Camp Nou will mark a before and after in this competition. If Barça keep winning and Madrid has a puncture, the blaugranas could be leaders if they beat the whites on March 22.
The first important pass is the second leg of Champions League round of 16, next March 18. The first leg result (1-2) reduces the danger, although City are not going to be an easy opponent.
The Citizens, leaded by Agüero, will visit Camp Nou willing to get back in and keep having hopes in the European competition.
Copa del Rey
The last 'lap' in La Copa is the match against Villarreal. They have advantage with the 3-1 of the first leg in the semifinals; Messi and co will keep fighting to be in the Copa del Rey final. On the other side of the mountain we find Espanyol and Athletic Club fighting to be at the top as well.
