Atlético de Madrid win the Supercopa de España against Real Madrid

Atlético de Madrid is the champion of the Spanish Supercup of 2014. After the victory by 1-0 in Vicente Calderón Simeone's team raised their first trophy of the season. The draw to 1 in Bernabéu was deciding for the team to win the Supercup.

Which are the keys of the victory? 

1. Draw in Santiago Bernabeu

The goal in the opponent's field which got Atlético de Madrid at the end of the first match was deciding for the final victory.

2. Cristiano on the bench, Casillas on the main line-up and Simeone's replacements

Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't  on the main squad for physical problems. The doubts in the goal were resolved by Ancelloti with Casillas. Simeone used Griezmann in the main line-up.

3. Goal Mario Mandzukic

A fast goal. The ball went out from the goalkeeper's feet Moyà, Mandzukic touched it, Griezmann fought for the ball and the Croatian drawed the match. The first official goal by Mandzukic with Atlético gave them a title.

4. Simeone's sent off

Diego Pablo Simeone was send off for slapping the referee. At that moment fans cheered the team and Simeone abandoned the bench. 

5. James attempts 

The last minutes of the first half were decisive. James, the best player in Madrid, missed in front of Atletico's goal. These were the best occasions by Real Madrid.

6. Cristiano on

Cristiano Ronaldo got on the second half to try to twist the score. The Portuguese isn't feeling well and he hold on for 45 minutes. 

7. Ancelloti's subs

Ancelloti decided to go Isco and Marcelo on, replacing Kroos and Coentrao. The changes made a mess in the team and they lost control.

8. Attempts by Atlético and the cup

Atlético de Madrid sentenced the match with attempts by Griezmann and Koke.
