Once he lost, he tries to get back up as soon as possible. That is why he makes jokes liks the ones he posts on Instagram
Dani Alves is used to living surrounded by controversy. His press conferences are always the juiciest and, in many cases, his comments on social media have generated tension with the press.
The latest controversy started with the video he posted on Instagram after Barça were eliminated of the Champion's League, in which we could see him wearing a wig and imitating his girlfriend. According to Weloba's sources, the Brazilian was surprised with the reaction of the majority of the fans and the press; he wasn't expecting it to be interpreted negatively. Alves considers that he shouldn't be judged on what he posts on Instagram, but based on his performances on the football pitch. He never wanted to hurt the sensibility of the Blaugrana fans, given that he feels more culé than anyone. To him, the video was only a joke and was taken out of its context.
The player is among the first ones who want to win it all, but once he lost he tries to get back up as soon as possible. That is why he makes jokes and, although he is affected, he doesn't find himself in a situation of despair like it is being commented those days.
In those moments, after losing and receiving criticisms he's more motivated than ever to compete, because the higher the pressure, the more eager he is to show talent on the pitch.
In the last La Liga game against Valencia, Luis Enrique left him on the bench, but he defended him before hand in the press room: "I didn't have the intention to harm anyone, I wanted to help. We already know Alves and we know his participation on social media; we've seen him do it all. Whether it is opportune or not, everyone decides for themselves, but I can say he is a born winner."
Right now the right-back has a contract with Barça and doesn't think about leaving. No offer was made to him and he would give them a thought if they were to come.
