Dani Alves and Sergio Busquets had to retire during Athletic - FC Barcelona, the first game of the season, due to physical problems in an intense match at San Mamés. Yesterday the club didn't report any information on the injuries but on Monday, after relevant tests, the club has issued a medical report.

Sergio Busquets, good news

Tests on Sergio Busquets have confirmed that the midfielder does not suffer any significant injury on his right ankle. Barça's '5' was replaced by Marc Bartra in the second half after a collision with Aduriz but he stayed on the bench with no signs of great pain.

If Busquets can train normally these days, it's likely that Luis Enrique includes him in the squad list to face Málaga next Saturday.

Dani Alves, injury confirmed

In the case of the right-back tests have confirmed that Dani Alves has a groin strain in his right leg. The Brazilian was replaced by Sergi Roberto after the first quarter.

However, the club has not communicated time he will be out but it's almost impossible that he is ready to face Málaga on Saturday at Camp Nou. It's likely that Alves don't play for Brazil and focus on his recovery to be ready for September matches. The first one, on the 12th against Atlético Madrid.
