Sometimes Dani Alves speaks too much, but this team he did it to let us know one of the secrets of Pep Guardiola. According to the Brazilian full-back, former Barcelona manager wanted to coach Brazil back in the World Cup 2014.

Speaking to ESPN, Alves explained how the story went.

"Maybe I am speaking too much but I am not saying a lie when I say that before the World Cup, Pep Guardiola wanted to coach Brazil", said Alves.

"Pep said he wanted to win the World Cup and that he had studied everything. The excuse was that people In Brazil may not accept a foreign amanger. If we don't accept the world's best... that means we are not so worried about the national team", added Alves.

Dani Alves showed his big admiration for Pep Guardiola: "He is the best coach of the world. The person that leads best a dressing-room and he changed football. We had the chance to sign him and without paying a lot... His intention was only to earn something if the challenges were reached. And we let him go?".

Maybe Alves is suggesting that if Pep Guardiola thinks about it again, Brazil should consider him this time.
