The coach of Juventus talked a week before the Champions League final
The world of soccer is waiting for the great Champions League final between Barcelona and Juventus. They will face in Berlin to know which team will get the treble. In Italy they think Luis Enrique's Barcelona are favorites, but this morning Massimiliano Allegri talked in press conference and remembered that his team have done a great season.
Allegri warned about the dangers of Barça, with Messi on front, and he also believes this FC Barcelona is different from other seasons. Here you have his sentences:
Juventus' state of mind
"We're aware of how good we are and know we're capable of giving a decent account of ourselves."
"We need to focus exclusively on knuckling down and working hard, not on what might happen."
"We know we'll have some decent spells in the game. We must be calm and avoid letting anxiety creep in."
"This season will go down in history. It's not often a team gets to this point in three separate competitions."
"A great mood in the camp and only five days to go. Let's see if we're able to make this season even more extraordinary."
FC Barcelona's dangers
"FC Barcelona play a different brand of soccer to that of other teams. We'll need to be compact and keep it tight."
"Marking Messi while he moves is a near impossible task. We must be smart in working around him."
"The UCL final could go to penalties, even though I think that's unlikely. We'll be prepared for any eventuality."
"Winning the UCL final would be a more than extraordinary feat. The perfect way to round off a magnificent season."
