Luis Enrique announced this morning the squad list to play against Bayern Munich this evening at 8.45pm (CEST), the first leg of Champions League semifinals. The coach will count on 18 players to face Pep Guardiola's team, which comes to Barcelona with many more lows than the Catalans.

The French Jérémy Mathieu is not in the list; as reported this Tuesday, he has some discomfort on his right Achilles tendon. So everything indicates that the center-backs will be Piqué and Mascherano, who will play next to Alves and Alba. In the bench, only one full-back, Adriano, since Douglas and Montoya have been dismissed for technical reasons, as well as Masip.

Thomas Vermaelen was included in the list, as well as he was against PSG. But this time, since there are only 18 players, he will have the chance to be at least on the bench for the first time with FC Barcelona. His comeback to the fields is closer every time.

Apart from the defense and thanks to having almost all the players available, it's quite probable that Luis Enrique uses his usual XI, which have been working so good over the last months, with the only change in the goal; it's Champions League, so Ter Stegen will be under posts. The big question, as always, is to know who will be with Busquets in the midfield. Iniesta and Rakitic? Do Xavi or Rafinha have some chances? In the forward, no doubts that the three magic strikers will be there.

This is the full squad list: Ter Stegen, Bravo, Dani Alves, Adriano, Alba, Piqué, Bartra, Mascherano, Vermaelen, Sergio, Xavi, Iniesta, Rakitic, Rafinha, Pedro, Neymar Jr, Suárez and Messi.

The most demanding, awaited and unforeseeable match has come. Who will win possession? How will Bayern's lows affect them? Which influence will the reciprocal knowledge Barça - Guardiola have? We will know it this evening at 8.45pm CEST.
